OVERLANDER SHUTTLE SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms & Conditions of the agreement between Shark Bay Coaches and the ticket purchaser and/or passenger are set out below:


BOOKINGS

Tickets are non-transferrable

Shark Bay Coaches is not liable to the holder of the ticket if it is lost or stolen

This service runs on an as needs basis, Integrity Coach Lines buses will only be met if confirmed bookings are made for the shuttle service.


IDENTIFICATION
All Passengers must, at the time of boarding the shuttle bus have photo identification (passport, driver's license or concession card) which matches the name on the ticket or associated with the booking number and be available for inspection if requested. Passengers who fail to produce such information may be refused entry onto the shuttle bus at no liability or cost to Shark Bay Coaches.



CONCESSIONS

A valid concession card must be presented when purchasing a concession ticket and when boarding the shuttle bus. The travel date must fit within the ‘valid to’ date of the concession card.  Concessions are categorized as:


  •  WA Seniors Card
  •  WA Pension Concession Card
  •  WA Centrelink Health Care Card
  •  YHA Card
  •  VIP Card
  •  Nomad Backpacker Card
  •  Student Card
  •  Non WA and overseas Pension/Seniors cardholders
  •  Children 5 - 14 years old


Shark Bay Coaches reserves the right to require children 9 years of age and under to travel accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children aged between 10 and 14 years of age may travel without a parent or guardian but with a duly signed authorisation form.. Children 4 years and under travel free.


FARES

Our fares are fixed, however they are reviewed on a yearly basis


BOARDING

We recommend passengers be at there departure point 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time.


LUGGAGE

Each fare paying passenger is allowed one item of luggage to a total of 20 kilograms and one small, light-weight bag.


Maximum size of luggage is a large suitcase, a large backpack or a large stripe bag to a maximum of 20 kilograms.


Drivers may require passengers to load heavy luggage into the shuttle bus themselves for health and safety reasons.


Valuables should be kept with the passenger at all times. While all due care is taken, Shark Bay Coaches takes no responsibility for lost, damaged or stray baggage whilst in transit, Correct labelling and travel insurance is the passenger’s responsibility.


Unaccompanied luggage will not be accepted.


For passengers travelling with a wheelchair please advise Shark Bay Coaches 24 hours in advance before your travel date.


No flammable liquids, firearms or explosives will be carried on the service.


SMOKING/ ALCOHOL/ DRUGS

Smoking, drinking of alcohol and taking or transporting non-prescription drugs is not permitted aboard Shark Bay Coaches shuttle bus.


PASSENGER BEHAVIOUR

Shark Bay Coaches reserves the right to refuse travel to a passenger who does not abide by a minimum dress standard of shirt, trousers/shorts/skirt and footwear.  Intoxicated passengers may be refused travel, at driver discretion. Violent, disorderly and/or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated and any person behaving in this way may be refused entry on to the shuttle bus. Any costs incurred as a result of this action will be borne by the passenger.


SERVICE CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation is possible and your booking can be changed to another day without incurring any fees.


Shark Bay Coaches’ shuttle service maybe cancelled at any time due to unforeseen operational circumstances and/or as a result of natural disasters, e.g. cyclones, flooding, operational requirements, etc.  Shark Bay Coaches cannot be responsible for any costs incurred by passengers as a result of cancelled services. Any costs incurred by passengers as a result of cancellations will be borne solely by the passenger.


UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN

Unaccompanied children between the ages of 10 and 14 may travel, providing an ‘Unaccompanied Child’ form' is completed by a parent/guardian and returned to Shark Bay Coaches prior to travel departure. The unaccompanied child must have a parent/guardian with them before the shuttle bus departs and the person nominated on the form should be waiting at the arrival point to collect the child.


ANIMALS
Service animals such as 'seeing eye dogs are allowed transport with passengers who require the service of the animal on board the shuttle bus.

Upon confirming your ticket with Shark Bay Coaches you have agreed to all the above Terms & Conditions for the Overlander Shuttle Service
